CLASS STATUS: Next class late Fall 2012, exact date TBA.
This website is presented in support of a FREE 40 hour ground school to help Sport, Private, and Commercial student pilots prepare for the FAA Aeronautical Knowledge Test. The class presents information far beyond the basic requirments for the written examination to help new pilots be prepared as safe and knowledgable pilots. It is presented in a classroom environment at the EAA 175 facilities at Tampa Executive Airport in Tampa, FL. This class has been presented to hundreds of student pilots and as a refresher for existing pilots. Since 2003 ALL who have taken the FAA exam after the course PASSED.
DONATIONS REQUESTED. I provide the equivelant of $1,600-$2,000 of free training to each attending student and recoupe nothing. I have overhead costs in producing DVDs, test materials, handouts, transportation, and the cost of replacement training audio-visual equipment. CLASS LOCATION: All classes will be held at the EAA Chapter house at 9334 Vandenberg Airport Road, Tampa, FL.
TAKING THE FAA WRITTEN EXAM: I highly recommend taking your exam at Tampa North Flight Center. It is located at 5241 Birdsong Blvd, Lutz, FL 33659. Make an APPOINTMENT by calling 813-973-3703 for your examination. Make sure to take your endorsement, picture-ID, and money for the examination. You results are printed immediately.
